Activating your connection to HomeAway
- Activate HomeAway as a channel partner. To activate HomeAway as a channel partner in FantasticStay, go to the Apps section on your FantasticStay dashboard and select HomeAway from the list. You will be redirected to the HomeAway integration screen where you can begin the activation process by clicking Connection Wizard on the left.
- Contact your assigned HomeAway Account Manager or Support. He will set your account and listing preferences so that you can begin the activation process.
- Begin your project after an Implementation Specialist contacts you. He or she will send you a link to a mapping tool that you can use to map your Vrbo listings within FantasticStay. The mapping tool is user friendly and straightforward, but if you have any questions, please ask your Implementation Specialist.
- To find your property IDs within FantasticStay, go to the Listings section on your FantasticStay dashboard, select a listing, and note the URL in the address bar of your browser. The URL will have this format: https://fa.fsapp.io/listings/view/**2461**. The number at the end of the URL is the property ID.
- Enable your listings to feed over to HomeAway. You can do this using the Connection Wizard where you can choose all of the listings that should feed over to HomeAway.
- Troubleshoot issues and use the HomeAway dashboard. Your activation is almost complete! ****Your Implementation Specialist will end the project with explaining how to troubleshoot errors on your nightly audit report and how to navigate your HomeAway dashboard. If you have any questions after your project closes, contact the Support Team for Integrated Property Managers (see bottom of this document).
Note: After you are integrated, FantasticStay becomes the system of record for rates, calendars, listing content, and photos. Any listing content entered on the HomeAway dashboard will be overwritten by the feed.
